Cancellation Policy
Punctuality & Booking 1.) Clients must arrive on time for their appointments. A 10 minute grace period is given, after which time, the appointment is automatically cancelled unless otherwise discussed. Please CALL if you realize you will be arriving after the grace period and we will advise if we are able to accommodate the appointment. 2.) If a client is regularly late (past the 10 minute grace period), they will be required to place a non-refundable deposit to book their next appointment after 3 occurrences. (i.e. a deposit will be required to book the 4th appointment) 3.) If a client books an appointment and is a no show/no call, they will be required to place a non-refundable deposit to secure their next appointment). Please note, cancelling at or after the start time of an appointment counts as a no show. 4.) After 2 no show/ no calls, clients risk being banned from making appointments in future. 5.) Clients who book appointments and cancel at the last minute( the day of), will be required to make a non-refundable deposit after the 2nd occurrence. Appointment Etiquette At Hummingbird Artistry, we offer our clients privacy during their appointments and so it is an ideal environment to take those work calls or emails, or simply to relax. However, we kindly ask that clients adhere to the following rules so that we keep the space equally peaceful and relaxing for all clients. 1.) Clients are not permitted to bring guests to their appointments, NO exceptions for children under 6 years old. 2.) Clients are not permitted to bring food into the spa. 3.) Clients should place their phone ringer on silent for the duration of their appointment. Health and Safety 1.) PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to service clients with diabetes, NO EXCEPTIONS 2.) Please cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are sick or have any open cuts or wounds near to the area of their body being serviced (face, hands, feet etc) Deposits We do not require deposits for regular appointments at this time. However, as mentioned in our punctuality policies, there are scenarios that will determine if a client has to make a deposit in order to secure their appointment time. Should we require you to make a deposit, please note the following; 1.) Deposits are 50% of your estimated total 2.) Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE 3.) Deposits will be deducted from your total bill 4.) Clients who miss their appointment, forfeit their deposit.
